Nice coherent rant.

Eliminate the Fuel

Firefighters Words... Eliminate the fuel and the fire will go out!

So Large "V" Snow plows, snow throwers and wood grinders..."hit the streets" might sound bizarre but that will help eliminate the fuel.. This is definitely a criminal matter not demonstrations!

Otherwise watch the smoke from the sidelines and enjoy yourself.. if this is what you call entertainment...

We agree with you 100%. They wanted to riot and loot and it was not about Michael Brown or the outcome of the jury's decision. It was just what they wanted to do....without being caught and taken to jail!

I noted the wording of the story on Yahoo this morning. "Grand Jury fails to indict officer". (Emphasis mine.) How is that in any way a failure? The grand jury did its job.

And the comments that the outcome was predetermined because there were 9 whites and only 3 blacks on the jury, as if no white would vote for indictment and no black would vote for no indictment.

:sigh:

This could be debated ad nauseum but my whole take on it was the media and how they kept a focus on it. We saw it twice here in Florida in the last 5 years. I can't speak to the race issue...having been brought up in the midwest, small town and pretty much white community. I don't have close friends who aren't the same as me. I think this race thing is truly complicated and there are two sides to how it has played out. I hope and pray that this can at least die down and be back to a new normal in that community. Justice was served by the Grand Jury!

Ferguson is the new Detroit.

The brothers cleared out a cellphone store 100% all in the name of sending a message to the cops.

That was my first thought too, Bogie. But then I heard on some news reports last night that they wanted to give the schoolchildren and working families the time to get home to avoid what they thought might be a further disaster if they were on the streets/roads when the verdict was announced. It probably also gave any businesses that are still operating in that area a chance to shut down and the workers to go home. From that perspective, I think it may have been a wise decision.

Sorry cannot agree. In the light of day, less bad things happen.

The "media" keeps being mentioned in a lot of these posts. That is just a broad brush, isn't it really just cable news? They need fodder to keep the machine running.

Well perhaps a jury of 12 people found no cause to indict this officer on any of the potential charges but I am glad to see Eric Holder Attorney General for the Department Of Justice will not rest until he gets to the bottom of this issue.:D

This is a primary example of what happens when the government over reaches.
The Civil Rights Laws of 1964 set in motion what was needed to level the playing field but pols couldn't leave it at that. No they not only started out by carrying the ball for the so called protected classes but eventually passed laws so that a ball was no longer needed to score.

Honestly if this had been black cop who shot a white kid it might have made the papers once. America wants to put this race issue behind it but nonsense like this just pulls us all back

Darren Wilson's legal troubles are far from over. There will be civil lawsuits along with the two Department of Justice investigations. The Ferguson police department is negotiating his departure from their staff. People like him, that get exonerated, have a way of self-destructing...think OJ Simpson and George Zimmerman.

IMO, Wilson's only hope for a future would be to change his name and appearance and move to some far-away place.
