Had the media reported the incident objectively, the shooting probably would have been pretty much a non-event. Instead of headlines like "Convenience-store robber killed as he attacks cop", we were deluged by headlines like "Cop guns down unarmed black teenager." The reporting that followed these headlines was similar in tone.

I have CNN News on right now, and the distorted reporting continues.

This thread is about to be closed. But why you ask?

Because users are directing comments at other users and making political references. When it takes too much time to prune out all the violators we close it down which is not what we desire so we ask for everyone's cooperation to have an adult conversation accordingly.
