Anne Stevens wrote an open letter to Trump and the RNCto stop using Chris Stevens name for political purposes. She says she does not blame Mrs. Clinton for her son's death and knows that Chris would not like seeing the division over Benghazzi.

Will it stop? No, Trump and the Republicans do not care what the ambassador's mother want but just to badmouth Hillary any way they can.

The Ambassador was not the only person to lose their life that night and their families feel much differently .
Then we also have the views of the people who were trying to save the Amb. that night and have lived to tell their stories .

And finally Mrs. Clinton DID tell the families of the dead that the attack was due to some video posted on YouTube which we have all learned she did not believe at all .
So what say you now ?

Perhaps you should have listened to Sean Smith's mothers speech at the RNC.

There were seven Benghazi hearings. Almost all had the goal of blaming Hillary for the deaths. They couldn't find that she was responsible for the deaths.

You heard the Republican congressmen state that the goal was to hurt Hillary, and they did.

The hearings had nothing to do with families. The Republicans are still trying to use the families for political gain. How low do you have to get? The ambassadors mother hasn't suffered enough. Why put her through more? Is there anyone out there, whose vote is going to change with the continuing drum beat of Benghazi?

How could they find anything, she had her own private server, and had 9 months for her team to delete thousands of emails. The FBI political hack, chip off the old block. Hard to find evidentl when you don't look for it. Beside what difference done it make now!

If my son got killed due to dysfunctional government I would be branded for life and want somebody held responsible.

Sounds as if you are suffering personally over this issue . Yes, the Republicans are all " Evil Doers ". We should have single party rule in the USA and that party should be the Democrat Party !

I am a retired State Dept employee, that knew of many folks that were fired because of their mishandling of classified information, by accident. I want Hillary, who blatantly with intent put our country in danger by mishandling classified to be punished for her violations.

So, does the people that were legitimately punished for their mistakes matter? Is she someone special that laws do not count when it comes to her violations? Does she get special treatment? Is she above the law?

She can't even, won't even take responsibility for her own mistakes, let alone for her poor leadership that got four killed in Benghazi. And yet YOU defend her.

According to the FBI head honcho, if you are to dumb to know you get off. I guess he's right about the dumb part in Hilary case.

The problem lies in gangs, your average hard working employee has nobody covering for them. You didn't get to put in place people in charge that will Lie for you.

She was defending a mother's right to say how she wants her son remembered.
I can understand how that doesn't help your first interests.

And she has a right to express herself. Does she speak for the other victims? Does the fact that he was an Ambassador mean he is more important? Most likely, his actions were instrumental in the others dying trying to save him. Working in embassies is not as glamorous as many might suppose. They don't install safe rooms in your residence just to use up government funds. And it is not very comforting if you are one of those that are not allowed to have a gun in your home in a hostile country. Especially, when you have your family with you. But, when you depend on your leaders to have your back, you go about your duty and hope they are there when you need them. I retired days before Obama was sworn in because I knew better.

For over 50 years now since the Vietnam 'conflict' (re: 'war'), hundreds of thousands of sons/daughters have been killed/wounded "due to dysfunctional government."

EVERY SINGLE POTUS since Vietnam (including the right's demigod Reagan) has been responsible for having this happen, so I certainly hope you're reasonable enough to recognize this....and not just myopic and pointing at only Benghazi.

Or are you just focusing your hatred on Hillary....and have chosen to ignore the truth? :shrug:

It is also very hard, if not impossible, to manufacture evidence to fit your political agenda. Everything is a conspiracy to avoid the truth. When the evidence doesn't support the truth, hold another hearing. What difference does it make, when you could care less about the truth. It is all about politics. So, just throw a mother out there, and pretend that you feel sorry for her. What difference does it make, she lost her son, so she knows pain.

What does the server issue have to do with this! The last investigation cost the taxpayers 7 million dollars to find exactly what the other 6 investigations found.

The repubs have spent serious money investigating the Clinton for "their crimes" and all they found was Clinton having sex with an intern!

There is a distinct possibility if not probability that Benghazi happened in the first place because Hillary used a private, unsecured server that probably held the mission and whereabouts of the ambassador.
