Fenny......

So I heard on the radio this morning between open house commercials that reservations are being accepted to view Fenny....

Anybody know whats up with that.....and how would you get a reservation?

The radio was vague as to who to call....

Only a guess, but I bet if you called any of the sales offices they could fix you up pretty quick.

Just call one of the sales centers. They will hook you up with one of the tours from Brownville according to The Villages radio station. I've driven down there in twice in the last two days. I have to admit, I do not get this at all, or it's purported connection to " The Villages ". Really, really a stretch in my opinion. I guess the houses will be 80% of the prices we pay here, or they will not sell as long as the ' Lake County " expansion homes are still available.

Isn't Fenny a part of The Vilages? Where do you get the 80%?

Thanks, I signed up for the trolley tour! Excited to see it, it feels different from the more hustle and bustle of The Villages.

Bet they won't sell many golf carts down there. Where can you go?

I could very well be surprised about the house prices but whether you drive down from where Morse ends on Route 44 or US 301 you are going to pass an awful lot of " old Florida " frontage, some of it residential, on both roads. It is also a relatively long drive, by Village standards, on either route and there is virtually no commercial development to speak of, i.e. no convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, drug stores, fast food restaurants etc. Nada. I have no doubt the developer knows exactly what they are doing, but it seems to be more like a Del Webb development, without easy access to very much at all. Just my opinion.

In smaller communities carts are a conduit to interact with others.

Guess what, when LSL & Brownwood were developed there was no commercial..............patience. That's an insult to compare to Del Webb.

Is your assumption that Fenny will stay the size it is, no more expansion down that way or commercial construction?

It might be a series of neighborhoods rather than Villages. But who knows what the final plan is.

Hopefully 14,000 new homes further south will speed up commercial development on 44 for those of us living in the southern portions of The Villages.
