Would have to see more about this "story" before reaching any kind of conclusion. Minnesota Public Radio fires Garrison Keillor for alleged impropriety

MPR is not going to fire him without very good reason.

This is ironic

His firing came one day after publications of a Washington Post column in which he argued against the idea that Minnesota Sen. Al Franken should resign his seat over allegations he groped radio host Leann Tweeden during a 2006 USO tour before he was elected to public office.

sigh. I have had improper thoughts.:pray:

“It’s some sort of poetic irony to be knocked off the air by a story, having told so many of them myself, but I’m 75 and don’t have any interest in arguing about this. And I cannot in conscience bring danger to a great organization I’ve worked hard for since 1969,” Keillor told AP. “A person could not hope for more than what I was given.”

Not much of a denial.

He probably never heard of you either, at any rate, he is a semi famous author, radio host etc

Maybe Garrison is telling another story.

I really enjoyed his folksy wit on the Home Companion.
