...sorry, just haven't seen the word "Entitled" in a post recently

If we want to maintain its over-used status, we have to keep using it, people!

I have decided to entitle myself.

Henceforth, please address me as Lord Fox of Arctic.

The next time we go to the neighborhood pool we are entitled to ask everyone else to get out.

Yes, we are so entitled. We were entitled to grow up in a three room apartment (probably the size of some closets) with parents and four children. We were entitled to work three jobs between us so our kids can grow up in a house and not a small apartment. We were entitled to not really seeing much of each other because I worked the day shift and my husband did the night and weekend shift. I didn’t “entitle” myself to manicures, pedicures and someone else dying my hair. That would have taken money away from our household. We did entitle ourselves to working hard, raising decent children with morals, loving and believing in our faith, helping anyone whenever it was possible. Bottom line, we worked our a$$s off to be “entitled”. Now, from what I hear, we are asked to give up our houses that we are not “entitled” to have. Crazy world for sure.

Wow you sound like my parents raising 4 kids in a one bedroom apartment before my dad borrowed money from everyone he knew to buy a two family home in Brooklyn and work a million hours a week to pay everyone back.

Yes, that’s how we were raised and I wouldn’t trade my childhood for all the money in the world! We didn’t have many material things but we had so much than kids today. Things that mean something, not an IPhone, which by the way, both my grandchildren have, lol!

I am entitled to go to work, pay my taxes and hopefully enjoy life.

The thread was meant to be lighthearted, I think. At least I'm entitled to think so.

Wow! Luv it. Couldn’t have said it better myself. And now my hubby& I are grateful. That his kids & mine are all much better off than we were and living the good life. That’s our best reward.

I played behind numerous entitled people yesterday at Cane Garden because of all of the ball marks I had to fix. :censored::censored:

I am entitled to find new shows on TV to help us get thru this.

Last time I checked we are entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Not entitled to happiness... just the pursuit of it.

I am Entititled to do what is right towards all that I meet each day...
