Dam, I was hoping you were addressing the Buffalo Stampeders taking up valuable Villages residents lap swimming time at the Laurel Manor sports pool. Thought that was over with the new high school having their own pool : (

Laurel Manor sports pool is purpose-built for lap swimming and meets but, because of its deep end, unsuitable for many other water sports.

With so many Villagers wanting to do lap swimming it would make perfect sense to dedicate this one sports pool to that and schedule other events in the myriad of other sports pools spread around the community.

I have suggested this several times to the powers-that-be but their answer is always along the lines that they tried this (probably fifteen years ago for two weeks) and it didn't work out.

The sports pools schedules have evolved piecemeal over time, resulting in the staff constantly having to take out and put in the lane lines. They really need to sit down and start with a clean sheet of paper and schedule all of the events logically - preferably asking for input ahead of time from those people who actually use these pools.

Anyway, about those eggs...

Correct

$2.41 ÷ 12 = 20 cents per egg

$9 ÷ 18 = 50 cents per egg

Easter just another holiday converted from Pagan rituals

Pagans lived their lives in strong accordance with nature's rhythms and patterns, and solstices and equinoxes were considered to be sacred times.
In 325AD the first major church council, the Council of Nicaea, determined that Easter should fall on the Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox.

and

Easter is a corruption of Oestre (various spellings) who is the goddess of fertility and takes the form of a hare, which itself was corrupted into the Easter Bunny

And what does that have to do with the price of eggs?
