This will only affect contractors who hire undocumented workers. If contractors hire Americans then there won’t be any interruption in their services. I suspect it will be mostly construction that will be haunted by this. Since ICE hit the jackpot, they will be back for sure.

It was in the Villages. 2 dozen were arrested, and almost 200 detained for further review.

Department of Homeland Security agents raided construction sites in The Villages on Tuesday as part of a nationwide sweep.

Special agents from Tampa participated in the roundup of about two dozen illegal aliens from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. It was noted that some of those arrested had been previously deported.

A lot of Turmoil
 

No matter, there is a lot of pain and suffering this evening for many families as they are deciding where to go. It was a needless act that inflicts pain on many families living in the nightmare. One thing is a big positive for most, The Villages is not a safe place for illegal immigrants any longer.

Dam, glad we got a new roof recently. Without illegals I suspect there will be a shortage of people willing to do all the roofing work needed in the area.
