Happy Birthday this September 10, 2025 to Arnold Palmer.

Mine is probably a family dinner we had at the Palmer Legends CC around 2010 here in the Villages.

Sitting at the Bar at Marlboro Country Club, having jokes & cokes with Arnie after a ProAm ... and making suggestions where we could go look for women.

Arnold was by far my father’s favorite golfer. About 9 years ago three of my best friends came to visit at the Villages and we played Palmer. On the back 9 at Riley Grove, we stopped on the bridge between the 7th and 8th holes and cracked 4 beers and did a toast to my dad at his favorite golfers course and sprinkled some of his ashes into Lake Sumter. Later that night we put on the news and learned that Arnold passed away earlier in the day. Hopefully Arnie and my Dad cracked a beer together at the great golf course in the sky?
