Default Tiger wins!!!

Probably not popular with a lot of folks, but I am glad to see him getting his game back in shape. A competetive TW makes pro golf much more exciting, even if you are pulling against him.

Been glued to the set all afternoon...Both played some good golf and it was exciting to be able to watch the last 2 days to the finish! Happy for Tigers Finish... I hope it continues for him.

I agree with SgtJohn.....Tiger certainly did not intimidate his opponent Zach...not one bit.

We'll see if winning one game = "he's back" or not.

What I like about the younger guys coming up is that they are much more personable. Just like the Palmers and Nicholas and Couples et al.

Yes when he is on Tiger plays good golf. Other than that he is certainly about as charismatic as a cement block!

All true, but a competetive Tiger makes for a great target for the young guns to shoot at.

Thumbs down

Sad day for all the really good guy's in golf. It has been nice to hear and see them play and not be all about Tiger on every broadcast. Tiger win's in a field of only 18 golfers and we will hear about it for the next year.

Watch what happens to the ratings for televised golf tournaments if Tiger gets firmly in the mix. I for one would have watched football today if it had been hunter mahan and webb simpson at the top of the leaderboard.

I agree that Tiger is good, but so are some others. I don't enjoy watching golf when he's there, simply because he's all the announcers can talk about, even when he's playing like crap. Why is it necessary to show every single shot he hits...good, bad, or just mediocre..and then talk it to death? Even when he's not playing or hasn't teed off at broadcast time, then it's reruns of him...nevermind the tournament in progress. I would just like to see them give credit where credit is due when someone else pulls off a really great shot or has a really great tournament outing. The announcers talk as if they just got lucky. Tiger is not the only talented player out there and if there was no such thing as a tournament, Tiger would be just another good weekend golfer.

Golf has been around a lot longer than Tiger and will be around when he's gone. He's a great golfer, yes, but there will be others. Unfortunately, as long as he's playing and all tv can do is focus on him, who's gonna ever know? Unfortunately for him, television really is doing him an injustice.

I have to agree with dolpterry's post.

Default The 1-stroke victory

I told Kathy at the outset of golf Sunday that I hope Tiger wins by 1 stroke and that's nip 'n tuck the entire day. Well, I got my wish.

I'm sure the TV event advertisers got their money's worth, with MILLIONS of eyeballs on Tiger and Zack. Better than watching David Duvall and a partner.

What a finish!

Gene (and Kathy by my side the entire day)

Default Tiger will always be a loser!

I agree whole heartedly with dolpterry and dillywho. Tiger is a loser who just happened to win a golf tournament.
