How does wearing a mask that covers the chin and leaves the nose and mouth exposed provide ANY safety in this time of world-wide crisis?!!! Where is the supervision? Where is the concern for the lives of customers or workers? A call to Burger King Corporate office was not yet returned.
It is one thing to tell people that they CAN go out and about to various businesses. It is another thing if they SHOULD trust their health and safety to that advice and actually GO to any business. And who can police doing the right thing if the people themselves don't know the right thing to DO or even care about their fellow human beings.

I see that also & some havemasks on but push them down after a few minutes. Very bad for business. I wanted to get a hamburger but won't until I see them all wearing masks. Even take out they bring the bad out with their mask on the chin.
Please tell the PM.

It is survivable, devorejh, but to older people who contract it, the odds of surviving it are much, much grimmer. For an 80 year old the odds of survival 90%

I had better check on that. I am not always right, like a lot of posters.

This article says that 15% of 80 year olds die from the virus if they catch it.. Our average age here in TV is 71 I believe. It isn't any thing to take lightly.

Here is the article; Here's What Older At-Risk People Should Know About the Coronavirus People not with other health risks would have a better chance, but almost all of my amazing and wonderful and treasured and LOVED peers have a little bit of this or that...Sugar issues, Blood pressure, ……….

Sooooooooo NOT TRUE. I wear a mask when I can not safely social distance to protect those around me. That means you! Masks block droplets. Have you seen the video I have posted a few times on this forum demonstrating how a simple T-Shirt material blocks droplets COMPLETELY? Don't tell me it is not my responsibility to protect others. It most certainly is.

Ready to accuse and bad mouth people who don't agree with them.
I have some news for you:
It's a tough world out there and it needs tough people … not whiners.

IMHO we should open up everything. Take off the masks and get on with life.
Just the opposite for those who wear masks. Those who wear masks must assume they are asymptomatic carriers of the virus. Mask wearers are protecting those around them. Mask wearers are not protecting themselves by wearing masks. Not everyone realizes this which is why I have posted about this ad nauseum. There are folks that still think their mask is to protect them which is so not true.

Your mask protects me and my mask protects you.

Anyone who wears a mask must know that it should cover their nose and mouth. They choose not to wear it properly for what ever reason. Some remove the mask from their nose so they can breath better. Some remove it from their mouth so people can hear and understand them better as reading lips is part of listening and comprehending what a person says. Then.....they forget to get the mask back on their face properly. It should be up to their managers or co-workers to remind an employee to place their mask on their face properly.

For the record, the Florida governor's recent executive order regarding restaurants, does not require restsurant workers to wear a mask. But, I don't think I would go to a restaurant where they didn't.

I just read an article on how the "experts" are trying to figure out why Florida's infection rate is down 14% the past 10 days despite being the 1st to start opening up 10 days ago. This trend is ruining their agenda. Eventually the truth will rear its ugly head, and a lot of people will be made to look like fools.

I totally disagree. They are excellent tasting, juicy especially if ordered with grilled onions. The fries are the best that you can get except for Thrashers in Ocean City Maryland, eaten with vinegar they are worth stopping for just that. I will agree they are over-priced and the placed has never been known for being the cleanest place at the square, especially if you compare it to McAlister's around the corner.

BTW, Thrashers has no ketchup, vinegar only. They sell no drinks, only fries.

The Villages Florida
Great assessment — great burgers and fries. Yes, I grew up with Thrashers also — they are no. 1 and 5 guys no. 2.

I am so longing to see that it is indeed waning. The flu usually subsides in the summer. We are then usually reminded to get out flu shots in October. I worry that this damned bug will return then?

Do we want the economy to rebound? Do we want to continue to bend the curve? Yes! Public pressure on restaurants to practice safety measures is a good thing. For those people that can’t be bothered to wear a mask are either willfully misinformed or just extremely petulant.

Look if you are unfortunate in getting Covid 19 your chances of living will be 90+%.

Sure you will be ill and feeling lousy and lose weight not a bad thing for some.

This fear , panic, has to stop. The media is fueling it !

Live your life like before , and set an example, to your children, and grandchildren for some ( great ).

I just shake my head on the fear mongering that is going on in this country. It's true.
