Just got,back from the burger station located in the gas station in colony and got their lake perch dinner. Wow excellent . Tasted like the perch we had in Michigan . Catfish Johnnys has Alaskan sea perch but it doesn't have the taste,of lake perch. If you are craving lake perch,that you remember having up north then go to the Burger station. The only bad thing is that they are only open until 2:30 pm.

It was lightly breaded and deep fried. Just like you got on a Friday fish fry back home.

Is this a lunch or dinner and what sides come with it? I am a Wisconsin guy and miss the great Friday night frys at almost every local bar. Perch, frys , cole slaw, potato pancakes w/ applesauce

That sounds delicious. I make great cole slaw and potato pancakes. I like sour cream on top. How is the fish prepared?

At colony there is a gas station. Inside the gas station is some kind of fast food place. Is that where it is?

Yes the blue plate deli is now called the Burger Station name change. This is real yellow lake perch. I know my perch since I grew up on perch back in Michigan. You get 5 pieces of perch,French fries,cole slaw and tarter sauce for $8.99.

We just had the perch. They said it comes from Lake Michigan. Tastes the same as Lake Erie perch that we are accustomed to. Thanks TOTV for alerting us.
