Thanks for the suggestions. I have been eating pizza for a week straight here in MA as I get ready to head south to TV because in past winters the places I have tried in TV have not been what I was hoping for. I never tried the ones mentioned in this thread and I look forward to it.

As far as getting a pizza well done? I sometimes enjoy a pizza at the Great American Pub in Raynham, MA and when I get two+ toppings I order it "crispy". I will try that description at Pauly's

ditto on the pauly's recommendation, i've had their pizza in the past and thought it was ok, i've always liked my pizza on the well done side and this could make the difference at pauly's....GN

Wonder why Southern Trace Center isn't in the South side of TV?

Pauley's in SS is the closest to what we had in NY. Go there every week.

When I moved here in 2002, Southern Trace Plaza was in the planning stage of being built and I gather it was named such since it was, at that particular time, the southern-most edge of TV before they started to build South of Rte 466 which was all farmland where the buffalo roamed.

I will second that. I also liked Pauly's in Mulberry because I could drive down there in my cart and pick it up. Too bad they closed.

Gabby's Pizza on Hillside Avenue in Hollis Queens. Voted best pizza in NY on the Rachel Ray show.

GoodFellas in Belleview. Doesn't look like much , but it's authentic NY pizza.
Owners from Pelham Bay in the Bronx. Tell them thin and well done
