Two of my neighbors went there lastnight. They said the food arrived “cold” to luke warm. The manager comped their meal.

New restaurant...stuff happens...

Got to give it awhile to see what most people say over a longer time.

Cant count on those natural complainers or those that think every place in the villages is wonderful

They did the right thing-they're still learning--if what they do is right it will be a winner--too bad their entrees are not our style

I am confused.

For someone who "doesn't go out to eat" how have you arrived at all your prolific personal opinions about the food being served in area restaurants?

When 95% (being charitable) of a posters prolific comments regarding places to eat in and around The Villages are negative, a reader just moves on to someone else's comment .. It's kind of like the Cry Wolf syndrome. Sooner of later there might be something positive and constructive said, but most of us will miss it.. Oh well .. Some Will, Some Won;t ... NEXT !!

Your preference, your choice. That does not mean that those of us who dine there know nothing about food just that we have accepted the reality that it is what it is.

All right already - we know Bluefin is not up to your esteemed standards - not many - if any - Villages restaurants are - maybe one critical post from you per restaurant is enough for us to understand that you are unhappy with what the Villages has to offer - no need to beat the dead horse - please please please give us a break from your tired opinions

OK, my wife and I and another couple went Wednesday, arrived around 4 PM, 30 minute wait, no problem as they were right on the money of the estimated wait time. Ordered a round of drinks all were very god except for my wife's bloody Mary, when she complained the owner took it to have another made, found out they did not have the correct ingredients, HE IMMEDIATELY RTOOK THIS DRINK OFF THE MENU, and comped her a replacement beverage. All of your meals arrived in a decent time, and ALL were great. I had the lump crabmeat, my wife the trout, I forget what the other couple had, but they were also impressed. We will definitely be going back.

Not all of the restaurants in TV suck, nor are all great...or even good

Those who choose to give their personal reviews, whether good or bad, should be allowed to do so...without the ganging up and jumping down their throats.

Look, nobody cares if you don't like any particular dish or any dish for that matter, at any particular establishment. No one likes everything and some are more particular or have different tastes than others. If, in your opinion, every restaurant in the free world is lacking, that is fine. What is not so fine is when you imply or outright state that others that do not agree with you lack sophistication, discernment, or are rubes you cross a line between opinion and judgement. I don't think most people that like things that you, or I, don't like are somehow less worthy, but simply they have a different tolerance and palate. I have a spouse that would not touch sushi, no matter how high the quality or price - I accept that just as she accepts that I hate beef liver, which she adores. We could all use a little more acceptance and understanding for others, and not just in the realm of food. FWIW, I am happy with several of the "country club" restaurants in The Villages - many good, tasty choices and reasonable prices - plus we don't dirty the kitchen. If you disagree; cool, just don't tell me I'm wrong.

I think some people like to complain to use it as an avenue to let you know where they are from so they can brag they are an expert on seafood, pizza, bagels, etc.
This goes on and on. When they are here they tell you how much better it is up north, then they go up north and tell their friends how much better it is in Florida.
