Default Brooksville Beef O'Brady's cancels NFL package over national anthem protests.

Beef O'Brady's will not be financially supporting the NFL this year due to their lack of compassion and gratitude for our American service members,” the poster read. “Our National Anthem is one of the methods we as American citizens have always used to show our appreciation to all military service members, past or present, alive or dead. This tradition deserves respect and unfortunately, the NFL does not feel that same way. So, for this season, we will not be purchasing the NFL ticket. Perhaps, it will make a difference if it hits their wallets.

The restaurant will save more than $5,000 by canceling its package and instead will offer veterans 40 percent off on food Sundays during game days.

It's just a small amount of players. They will lose a ton of money not having the games....

It's about the principle, not the money. Good for them!

It's one franchise. I wonder if the company will take issue with it. Also, to be clear, non package games will still be on. So that's Sunday night, Sunday day, Thursday night, Monday Night etc...

Well, there is always English Premier League. And for a lot of those guys, 9AM is probably mid afternoon so it works out!

Stopped going to Beef O'Brady's a long time ago. Terrible service and mediocre food. No NFL at a "sports bar". Good luck with that. Well they were never a real bar. No liquor just wine and beer. Now they can drop the "sports" part. I don't think the NFL is going to be the only loser here.

Again, it is only ONE location that will not show the package games from a Direct TV. That location IS NOT in TV. All of the Packer, Steeler, Bills fans, etc. will still be able to get their weekly fix here in TV Beef O Brady’s.

i will not buy the NFL package. I hope gators, and the other bars would not purchase it also.
but it seems to me, that fans will always watch "their team" despite the kneeling.

Most people I know watched the NFL last season and will watch the 2018 season.
