Default Brownwood Hotel and Restaurant

I'm amazed at the lack of compassion displayed by the front desk of the Brownwood hotel. After a party of villagers was over I could not get to the drop off area to pick up my wife in her electric wheelchair because of motorcycles parked in the pick up area. Upon calling the hotel and talking to "Lisa" I was told the motorcycle group was fine, because they were staying there and that the village people were always complaining. I don't think I'll attend anything there again, and will not recommend them to anyone.

If they were parked in a "Fire Lane". Call the police.

BTW, thanks for posting. We will NOT recommend the hotel to friends now.
Social Media is a powerful thing. The hotel should know this.

We stayed there for a couple of nights before we closed on our house. We experienced great service. It's a nicely appointed hotel and all of the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. Maybe since we weren't officially Villagers yet we got treated better.. lol

We had a great experience there overnight in August and at a function in October.

Sounds like she reads this forum and was telling the truth about Villagers complaining all the time.

I'd recommend visitors that we didn't have room for to stay there

I don’t know if I would rely on info on this site as most of the posts are negative- maybe your own experiences would better evidence-just saying.

How were you then able to pick her up?

According to the OP, he talked to "Lisa" at the front desk. It is also unclear whether these motorcycles were illegally parked or not, since he was told by the hotel employee that they were "fine". I'm also not sure the police get involved in a parking situation on private property. Sounds to me like the OP usually gets the courtesy afforded to those in a wheelchair, as he should, but gets quite out of joint when that courtesy is not extended. Note: Courtesy, NOT legal right.
