Hello folks.
Any rec.s for a casual dining spot between here and Orlando? Approx. 1/2 way would be good. Meeting people and would rather avoid either one haveing to drive an hour or so.

If you're going to take 441 to get to Orlando, there are a bunch of places right on 441 in or near Mt. Dora/Eustis area that would be considered casual dining. I think there's a Chili's, Cracker Barrel, Oakwood Grill, Denny's, a Japanese Steak house (which I have eaten at and it was great). Hope this helps.

If you are taking the turnpike, then stop in Winter Garden. Great restaurant in a quaint Southern style downtown area. Al Fresco is the restaurant and it serves fresh food which is the best I have found in the area! You might drive a little more than half way but the food and atmosphere will be well worth it! Less than an hour away.
