Where is the Best store to buy a steak? I know there are grocery stores and they may be good, but who has the best butcher?

Thanks!

We have THE BEST luck with rib eyes from Sam's Club. Whenever we have them for dinner one of us usually make the coment " you won't get a steak this good in any restuarant". Always very tender & flavorful.

The Black Angus Steaks at Sweetbay are really good, and they have sales where the meat is cheaper than Sam's Club at times.

Had Sam's rib eye steak for Father's Day and it was tender and juicy with a great flavor hot off the grill. Will definitely get them from Sam's again.

Every month or so, The Fresh Market puts one of the primal cuts (whole loin, ribeye, strip) on sale at about half the price per pound of the individual steak. We buy the whole ribeye, and they will slice it into whatever size steaks you want! At about $6.50 per pound, it is superior to any steak I've had anywhere close! The whole loin is as good, and it's really cool to be able to order filets cut to your size. They also have USDA prime beef and, to my knowledge, are the only place in town which does.
