Just thoughts. Like pizza, housing, cars, or anything else. It depends on the individual. You can buy a Cadillac and get a nice quiet ride and spend $50000, or a Chevrolet and spend $20000 but not as comfy. Both get you there. You can buy a villa for $140000 or a premier for $500000. Both let you live and enjoy with a roof over your head. You can buy a pizza for $5 or one for $15. Both will fill you up but depends on your tastes and tolerances.
Thus, each individual has their own tastes and levels of what makes them happy. Just thoughts...

More power to you if you think Cici's is delicious I personally think it's bland, and it is a fact it is low quality or else it wouldn't be so cheap.
Your right, some will put anything down the hatch as long as cheap.

I'll call you both with a Howdy Doodie Do. And CiCi's pizza is the worst pizza I've ever had in 66 years. Although I will admit that I probably didn't have much pizza the first few years

I'm proud to be a lot of things, just don't feel the need to bring up any of them when talking about (bad) pizza.

Default tried it

Tried Cici's a couple of years ago....hoped for the best....was severely disappointed. Agree everyone has differents tastes....hate to admit it but I don't like Peach Wave either but my hubby sure does.

I agree that CiCi's is very lousy pizza. However, the very worst in the area is Hungry Howie's in Wildwood. We had it delivered once to the St. Charles Social Club and you honestly could not tell which was the cardboard box and which was the pizza. The pizza was delivered lukewarm. Pizza is supposed to be eaten piping hot - or some like it cold in the morning - but not lukewarm. Cardboard tasting lukewarm pizza from Hungry Howie's is terrible!!

Default Boy Howdy

Folks, after a while you begin to notice that some people on these boards have nothing good to say about anything.

Regarding Flippers how about giving a new business some time to establish themselves before condemning them. In the Sun there was a picture of a young woman and her baby daughter identified as the new owners. Let's give them a chance to suceed before bashing them; it's a tough world out there and I, for one give a family credit to taking a risk and owning their own business. OK, I'll get down off my soap box and continue to enjoy paradise.

I am glad I have some basic wiring problem that causes me to be a cockeyed optimist.

While out to dinner Sat. night, overheard people talking about Flippers....how inexpensive it was and what a good value! The menu has the prices. What else do you need to decide for yourself if it's pricey, or not?

I haven't tried Flippers yet, but based on the positive reviews I've read I'll be sure to try it when we return to TV next month.

As far as Cee-Cee's, I tried it once in CO a few years ago and although inexpensive, I found the pizza to be below average. For that reason, I have no desire to try Cee-Cee's again.

Went to Flippers tonight......BEST pizza I've had in years. Really fresh ingredients. Excellent mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, drizzled with good olive oil. YUM.
We had a meatball ricotta appetizer...Very Good. Then a 16" Margherita pizza.....Traditional crust ( they have a choice of three different crusts) Pizza ...Very Good.
All the other pizza's looked good too.
For those out there that are from Brooklyn, the pizza is similar to Totonno's Pizza (if you've ever been lucky enough to have that)

We all know that dining is all about price not taste which is why the best restuarants have very cheap prices.
