Make sure to unfreeze the pizza before you consume it. It tastes better that way!

Had pizza at Flippers last night for the first time and it was excellent. I had the thin crust with 2 toppings and it came to $8.99!

Sevice was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return there

Yeah,... but isn't this kind of like comparing a McDonalds cheeseburger to one that you would buy up at Nancy Lopez? I don't think you're comparing similar items....just my opinion.

Thumbs down

The subject of the thread is Cici's vs. Flippers. For me the choice is clear. I ate at Cici's ONCE.

Never again. Thin toppings, tasteless crusts.............

All you can eat is meaningless when what you eat is not tasty.

We did our first visit to Flippers yesterday. CiCi's isn't even close!!!! What I liked about Flipper's is that fresh crust they make. Yummy!! Much better then going through aline and pick'n up cold pizza, or pizza that someone going through line sneezed on or coughed on. I'm sorry, but I like sitting down and waiting for that fresh pizza that is good. Especially when they use the good cheese. To each their own!!!

Try DiGeorno's Rising Crust Supreme. As good or better than some pizza shops.

At CiCi's you can always order and get a fresh pizza of any kind, and they will deliver to your table. They make a pretty good deep-dish pizza.

Went to Flippers for lunch. Very good pizza and the service was also very good. Pretty crowded though until 1:45 P.M. or so.

Never been to CiCi's.

Went to Flippers last night with the wife. Must be us but we weren't impressed. Just had a plain cheese pie, no extra toppings. The crust had very little flavor and we both felt that the sauce didn't have to much taste either. probably just us, coming from NY we like more flavor in our pizza. To be honest we think Mallory has a much better pizza

Some of their more elaborate pizzas have quite a bit of taste. I had a Mediterranean Chicken which had chicken breast, spinach, olives and some other stuff. Had a great deal of taste. http://www.flipperspizzeria.com/OurM...1/Default.aspx

I agree, you can make pizza taste like many different things whatever you can think of they can put on it. We were just interested in trying their pizza and that was all I commented on. I'm old school basic kind of guy, i'll go between meatball, pepperoni or sausage. Think back 40 years on the flavor of your corner pizza parlor's plain cheese pie, full of flavor with out any adornments. But times change, today that same pizza parlor is owned by a family from Pakistan and they now offer 24 different designer pie's!!...........Burp.....working up an appetite

Thumbs up Busy Place - Be prepared to wait.

My group arrived at Flippers at 5:30PM on Saturday and found the place packed. After waiting for around 40 minutes we were seated and our order taken. The server told us it could take another 25 minutes of so for our food to be prepared because they were so busy. In fact the time elapsed between when we walked in the door and had food on our table was one hour.

Is all of this activity because of the novelty of having a new restaurant or because their pizza is so superior to others? Time will tell. In the mean time, if you go to Flippers be prepared to wait. You might want to consider carry-out or home delivery.

Another reason for not eating in the restaurant is that it is very noisy. It is relatively small and the kitchen is an integral part of the seating area. When orders are ready the cook shouts out to the servers to pick them up. It is difficult to have table conversation without raising your voice.

Members of my party enjoyed the various pizza toppings and the variety of crusts offered.

Flippers is a chain which has several locations around Orlando.

IMHO, all this is caused by someone wanting to boost an unpopular pizza place for whatever their personal reason are, but do so at the expense of another business, Flippers... and it backfired! I've expressed the reasons why I feel this to be the case in a previous post, so I won't reitenerate it here.

On the positive side, Flippers business may have been given a boost because of "all of this" and may also partially explain why they have been as busy as they have. The advertising they've been given here is invaluable!

Hold up skyguy.................

Are you saying that my post was to boost Cici's? It would appear so since you quote it before adding your remarks and you even quote a phrase that I use. If you think I am boosting Cici's you need to read my previous post which I quote here in it's entirety:

"The subject of the thread is Cici's vs. Flippers. For me the choice is clear. I ate at Cici's ONCE.

Never again. Thin toppings, tasteless crusts.............

All you can eat is meaningless when what you eat is not tasty."

I don't think I could be much clearer.
