Also was hoping to see FRESH FLORIDA seafood on the menu! Grouper, snapper, mahi, flounder, shrimp, oysters, scallops, soft shell crab, stone crab, blue crab, clams, trout, redfish, Spanish mackerel - so much fresh available from our own state! And not just a repeat of other restaurant menus.

I was commenting about the claim that there was -fresh- cold-water lobster. There isn't. Cold-water lobster doesn't live in Florida, and when it gets to restaurants here, it isn't fresh; it's frozen. That's not a negative comment. It's correcting a mis-statement.

The menu states cold water lobster tail. Nothing about fresh.

If you take a trip back to New England you'll find that price is in line with what you will pay in New England.

I was responding to YOUR claim that they use fresh ingredients. They do not. They use thawed, pre-boiled, frozen lobster tails. You're the one who made the claim. I was correcting you.

I meant salads, vegetable, desserts etc. You would have to be very naive to think a cold-water lobster tail is fresh in FL.

Default Fresh cold-water lobster.

If any of you remember Cousins Maine Lobster truck, They had fresh lobsters flown in nightly to Tampa from Maine.

I agree. This would go over well in Brownwood but not Spanish Springs.

I hope you were not one of those complaining "Spanish Springs is dying".

I don’t see the Ribeye listed as prime. It’s the only kind to serve in an upscale restaurant

When it is MP normally prime. That is how the prime meat is listed at Chop House and Harvest. I had a prime delmonico at Chop House Friday night.

They need to be specific. It should never have to be assumed. Capital Grill is the standard and they proudly assert it
