If you have been to Cody's, you see the rustic vintage decor they have.
They are now scouting around for items to decorate the Brownwood Cody's.
Just a thought... If anyone has any vintage signs, a license plate or a cool hubcap that they would like to see put to good use, Cody's could use them.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
If all that crap is nice to look at while eating, then I may have to move our dining room set into my garage!

There are commercial businesses that specifically sell the type of items Cody's is looking for, in order to decorate their new restaurant.

Do you mean to tell me that they can't afford to buy these items???

Aren't they being a little frugal, even cheap, in begging for donations?

A little tacky, don't you think?

That's a silly thing to say !!
Of course he's decorated many Cody's!
The idea is some people think it's kind of neat when they go in a place and see something of their's hanging on the wall.
I have some things that I gave Lighthouse when they were building it. I think it's cool when I go in and see a few of my things hanging.
This definitely has nothing to do with the owner trying to save money !! Geeezzz

Also... Some friends went on a trip and one of the guys kept saying "I Gotta P" so some got together and had a license plate made up that says
"I GOTTA P". That plate hangs on the men's restroom door at Codys in Sumter. We all laugh every time we see it !!

How about all the old, useless, personal crap used to decorate the Eisenhower Rec Center. No comments about that? do you think TV could afford a decorator? Do those families feel a little bit of pride having their history on display?

Reminds me of the saying, "you never own beer, you only rent it".

Do they need a garbage can, that can double as a basketball hoop?

Only kidding!!!!!

Will James, the manger at Cody's in LSL, be managing this location too?

He's a cool dude!!!! James, you da man!!! He will make right any problems you have at Cody's, in LSL. Great guy!!!

I don't think the Eisenhower Rec Center with all the donated items
is any kind of comparison to a Cody's.
Most people don't see that as "old, useless, personal crap."

It's obvious that it was done in good taste and
I also assume it was done by a decorator.
