Tried the new Culvers twice - custard great, the rest just average fast food - Steak & Shake better burgers.

Well, My opinion Culver's is better, IMO S&S fries are pathetic. Plus Culver's has the tenderloin sandwich which I prefer over burgers anywhere, to each there own? Also IMO BK and Culver's has the best fries. MD and S&S fries are bottom crawlers IMO of course

I'm a big fan of shrimp of any kind, so last week I had the 6 piece shrimp dinner with cole slaw and fries, I believe it was $8.89. They also have a 10 piece but I was barely able to eat what I had. I loved the meal, fries were very good with ketchup, shrimp and the cocktail sauce was good and the cole slaw was excellent. My wife had the chicken breast sandwich and liked it as much or better than Chick Filet.

We went back again this week and I had the same meal, and it was still great. I'm going to have to try something else because the shrimp dinner never leaves room for a custard dessert. My wife had a 2 piece chicken tenders with a side salad and she liked what she had. The tenders are very big and she wasn't sure if she could eat 4, but a basket allows you to order 2 and for 30 cents more she got a side salad instead of fries.

Had a Butterburger. The bun and fixin's were very good, but Where's the Beef? The patty was thinner than my underwear.

From their website...

MAY 3rd -ENJOY FRESH FROZEN CUSTARD FOR $1
That’s right, all day long on Scoops of Thanks Day, you’ll receive a scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard in exchange for your $1 donation to an FFA chapter or other local agricultural organization. For the chance to enjoy a delicious, creamy scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard for only $1, how could you not stop by?

Stopped for "custard yesterday" wife and I convinced that it is the same formula and taste as McD. for $1.29 more.

I thought that long post up thread was a joke. None of it seemed feasible.

We went there Thursday evening around 7 :15. Observed the parking lot packed and drive thru jammed. Came in and ordered our food. Got the food relatively quick but long wait for shakes. Seems the place was over whelmed by the multiple individual orders for various ice cream cone, smoothie, and shakes. Worker told us best time to avoid the zombie hour! LOL.

Probably better for you heart! I usually never order hamburgers? Do they come in different sizes and layers?
