Our youngest daughter was asked for ID at Publix when buying a bottle of wine.
She was 51 at that time.
Made her day!!

Do they call that "Dry" humor, or maybe "dry mouth" humor?

Maybe they were making sure that she wasn't on the terrorist watch list?

Finally went to Culver's tonight.

(did not drive my golf cart......................cross threading alert!!)

Unfortunately, disappointed in the burger.
Got a deluxe.
Very small, not much taste.

I went to Culver's up in the Midwest a number of times.
The burgers were much better.
Not sure if they are sourcing the meat regionally, but it's not the same.
Hopefully the Culver Family can improve remote locations.

I agree, most of the red meat in Florida is lacking and that’s really difficult when one doesn’t care for red meat to start with…. The upper Midwest beef has a much better flavor and even aroma when being cooked.

I think you have to compare Culvers to other fast-food restaurants. I'll take Culver's over any other fast-food restaurant (except Chick-fil-a). Culver's makes their food "to order." If I'm going for fast food... I'll take Culvers over Mcdonald's or Wendy's or Burger King.

Went to the new Culvers last week first time ever at one.

Employees very nice and helpful but did not realize it was fast food restaurant and probably not going to go back as we usually do not do fast food.

I wouldn’t consider Chick-Fil-A fast food. We took the golf cart to the one near Spanish Springs around 7:30 PM yesterday and had to wait over a half hour in line to get to the drive-up window. We rarely get fast food and Chick-Fil-A will no longer be on our list of options.

Typically do not eat fish sandwiches at fast food type restaurants. Exception to my "rule" is Culver's !

I like that the northerners enjoy Culver’s. It keeps them out of the better establishments.
