Not bad, but for some reason the pizza at Gio's Deli is better than his pizza at the main restaurant

Is there anyplace to get decent pizza in The Villages?

We had Papa John's last night and it wasn't very good. Way too much dough and very chewy. Hardly any sauce or cheese. It was like eating pizza dough and vegetables.

Flippers is not much better.

We've had Little Joey's but that a way's away.

Is there anything decent that is golf cart accessible?

MCO to NY, NJ or Chicago, not cart accessible but guaranteed to satisfy.

We buy dough at Publix bakery and make our own. Deelish! Put whatever toppings you like and bake at 400 for 10 minutes.

Yuck!!! Cafe style, Greek pizza. I don't understand why people think this is good pizza.

If I were going to that I'd go back to my home town of Revere MA or to Boston's North End

Even the pizza chain, Papa Gino's is good up there.

I honestly think that you will need to try the different places and make your own decision. I know this is not helpful to your post, but as you have already opined, you don't care for Stavros although it was recommended here (I have not tried their pizza). Other places recommended here I have tried and I agree with some, disagree with others, but again it is my personal preferences against how I "value" the food.

Pizza Regina, anyone?

Pizza is a very personal choice. We happen to like Papa Johns for a cheap meal. You can usually get a large for around $10 if you order on line. But our favorite within TV is Sammy Joes on Mulberry Lane near the VA Clinic.

It is very sad that the OP simply wants a "decent" pizza. Shows how bad the pizza here really is.

Last year we discovered Sammy Joe's after one of my VA trips to Mulberry and loved their pizza. We made a habit to eat there at least once a month even though it's the opposite end of TV from us. However, the last time we ate there was in March and they changed their style from a thin pizza to a sort of thicker gooey style. Have you noticed a change this year? I like it either way but my wife didn't like the change.

We eat meals at Giovanni's at Southern Trace every week or two but hadn't tried their pizza, so we gave them a try. We found their pizza was identical to Sammy Joe's and I like it, but my wife didn't. Anyway, we now both like the pizza at the new Flippers at Brownwood, so that's where we'll be getting pizza.

Make my own. Double zero flour, dust with a little cornmeal, baste dough with EVOO then add sauce in SMALL amount plus Mozz, then your toppings ( prosciutto and arugula!).Thin crust and mmmm!

We like Bravo's, but for years I have also bought Frechetta's or Digiorno's at Publix and cooked it. Good, fresh, and variety.

What's good to me might be terrible to you. Sample a few and see what you like best.
PS.....there are a lot of "pizza snobs " around here. It's never as good as it was "back home ".

Bellview Pizza, will take a few hours to get there by golf cart if you can avoid the cops.
