Went to Darrells after church. Was packed when we got there. Waited for about 10 minutes to get seated. They took our order quick enough but we didn't get our food for just shy of an hour. Some folks left before they got their food. I felt bad for the waitresses - they were pushing refills on the coffee I think to keep people from complaining. We overheard people around us saying how slow it was. There are a lot of tables in this diner but they are just a little too close. I had to get up so the person behind me could leave. We saw people still waiting for the food that were just behind us in the seating line when we were leaving. The food was good and lord knows they gave us so much coffee I think I floated out the door. I think this was their second weekend so I guess they need to work out the kinks in their system. Didn't look like that many cooks in the kitchen. We'll try it again but will probably wait until the newness wears off and until they tweak their system. The Cheesy Scrambled Eggs were delicious. For now you might want to try it on a weekday.

Ditto all of the above but food was good and served HOT !!! Long wait may diminish as they work on getting it right. Staff was very apologetic every time they refilled coffee....Think it will be a good place to stop after golf/church or when you don't feel like cooking. Limited menu but some good standard choices. Open 6AM -3PM only.
