Tampa is in phase one also, however it does not say when visitor arrived in TV. Sun could have put anyone in the picture, they chose a very elderly twosome, one a visitor. Maybe to suggest it’s ok to eat out, without making a statement

How do we know you don’t have the virus?

Could be but still think it is an odd choice given that social distancing is still in place.

Would not have been too hard to find a couple having dinner together.

Went to Chili's to visit our "special" server. Great service and better than normal presentation. Good experience!

Carrabba's at 3 pm. Almost no one there to begin with. Within half an hour, people began to stream in. Very sterile environment. Staff with masks, gloves, disposable menus, etc. Great to be dining out again!

Tried breakfast at Lighthouse today. They just began this service this week. Meal was very good and service was very prompt...however, no masks worn by servers or hostesses and salt and pepper out on the tables. So, if you're worried about catching something, I'd say to stay away! Otherwise, what a wonderful setting for a relaxing breakfast!!

Went to Five Guys in Brownwood at lunch time. They only had about 16 chairs out and the rest were stacked up in a corner and not to be used. Shortly after noon all the chairs were in use and there were no more available. An older couple removed some of the stacked chairs and started setting them at a table. An employee who looked like he may have been the manager kindly told them the restaurant is limited to 25% capacity and the chairs that were stacked in the corner could not be used. The couple was very rude and started arguing. It's too bad that some people think the rules don't apply to them.

I seriously doubt yours is a rhetorical question so:
Most would probably answer NO. I suppose one could also ask, "if you knew your server was a psychopath and was going to "do you in", would you eat there"? Other than the obvious answer, what is the purpose - fear-mongering, I would presume. STAY INDOORS … no worries

Sad that some people do not understand the world we live in.

I understand your point. I was just trying to analyze how safe it might be to eat in a restaurant.

Bamboo Bistro for lunch today (Cinco de Mayo???). Haven't been there for 2+months. Made a resrv over the phone yesterday for noon. There at 12 - no line, 2 tables of 2 seated. We were the only ones with a reserv on the list. Seated in a nice booth.

Hostess and Servers all wore masks and gloves. Did not ask for a menu as we get the same every time... Server was very careful handling glasses, etc. Food was excellent - tofu with vegetables and rice with orange sauce and veggie rolls. I had hot&sour soup too. As usual we could only eat 1/2 and boxed the rest for lunch another day at home. All yummy and hot off the wok. When we left there were 3 other tables taken, with 2 at each. Was nice to get out, and felt very safe etc. A+

Went to Gator's Dockside at Brownwood at 1:00 today. A couple with some young children went in just before us. The hostess asked if we wanted inside or out, it was very hot although two couples were sitting outside. We went inside because the TV's are one reasons for going there, the other was I hadn't had any wings in about a year and they have good wings. Oddly, without live sports to watch and no audio on the TV's, the sports channels are kind of boring.

We sat in front area and only the family were the only other diners for about 30 minutes, then a couple youger guys came in and an older couple. Our waitress, who waited on us a few times before, her and none of the employees had masks on. They gave us paper menus, but I basically asked if they had the wings lunch special and she said yes. Ten wings or six, we had six wings, fries and blue cheese for $7.99, and two diet Cokes. It was $22.50 and I gave her a $7.50 tip. I ordered a side of celery but as it turned out, their truck didn't come in, so no celery. We got regular boned wings with sweet BBQ sauce. They were excellent.

Overall, they had a barmaid, two waitresses, a hostess and a manger, more people than customers most of the time. The table was clear when we sat down, so they brought us a new ketchup, salt & pepper and a new roll of paper towels on a stand. We had regular silverware wrapped in a napkin.

Normal times at Gator's Dockside look like this
