Default Best fish fry

Friday fish fry at Tierra Del Sol is fantastic. A full three courses with way more excellent fish than you can eat, salad, bread and dessert with great entertainment and dancing. And, they take reservations. We love it!

Do you know what type of fish they serve? Also is it batter-dipped or breaded? What are the sides?

I believe it is Haddock. And yes they have great entertainment there with dancing. Can't wait for the band Vinyl Recall to be there on March 29th.

Yes, Tierra del Sol does have good fish on Fridays.

However, even better than Tierra del Sol is Hacienda Hills Country Club. For $10.99, you get all the fish (delicious!) and two sides. I was not wild about their cole slaw but the fish was fresh - not frozen - and was so good as was the service, that I complimented the owner on both the server and the chef.

Tierra is only $10.49 with those extras. Haddock, fired or blackened. The chef is fantastic. If you don't see it on the menu, ask him to make it for you.

Try Athens Greek Restaurant in Spanish Springs for their fish fry (discounted price on Tues and Fri). A piece of haddock that overwhelms customers who have never seen this dish delivered to the table. Have tried a few places for haddock. Athens is the best. $10.99

best kept secret for fish fridays is the pub, at fiesta bowl. buy one fish dinner, get one free. comes with fries and cole slaw, but they allow you to sub on of the the other sides for either. tony d was playing last friday. $1.60 for cold draft. blackened fish is tasty, fried is not greasy.

Go north on Buena Vista, turn right in Stillwater, turn left (north) on Morse, go under 466, stay on Morse to San Marino, turn left. Follow San Marino about a half mile to Tierra del Sol.

When on Morse you have to turn right into the tunnel just after the bridge leaving Market Square.
