Red Lobster comes to mind.

Glenview has a lobster extravaganza on Friday.

I don't see much any place else on my list of online menus

I know of no restaurant that sells lobster as a main feature. A lot of lobster served is imported and I don't mean from Canada. ("Maine" lobster may actually be from Canada but taste just as good). Some restaurants feature lobster occasionally. Live lobster is sometimes sold in local grocery stores.

BTW, a little cider vinegar in the drawn butter is a real plus.

If you're not afraid to venture off campus towards Leesburg, then The Ocean's Grille down 441 on the right just past Walmart (across from Walgreen's) is the ticket. It's a no frills, jeans and tee shirt watering hole with Monday oyster special, raw or steamed 30 for $10, and Tuesday or Thursday (check newspaper ad) 1 1/4 lb lobster with small salad and sides for $11 or $12, (have seen $9.99 once too) And ICE COLD drafts and sizzling strip steak smothered in onions for $7.99 on the early bird special, 3-7 pm. Other specials good too, like buffalo shrimp, gator tail, and others.

If your looking for atmosphere, and fast service, don't bother. On Mondays when it gets crowded for the $10 oysters you must have patience because all the raw oysters are shucked by only 2or 3 servers. While we're waiting we down a few cold ones and work on the fried shrimp or soup. Belly up to the bar and throw your empty shells into the trough behind the bar.

Heck if 1 1/4 isn't enough, see how much to add a second lobster. This ain't no Nancy Lopez.

Another Off Campus option is Millers Ale House Restaurants. Closest is in Ocala.

They offer a Wednesday Lobster Special that normally includes a 1 1/4 lb live Maine Lobster Steamed with sides priced at $10 -13.

My neighbors are from Massachusetts and they go to Lena's Seafood restaurant in Silver Springs. The owners have a restaurant in Salisbury, Mass and have the seafood shipped here so it is real authentic New England seafood. They and anyone they take there rave about it. You would have to check when they are open because I am not sure if they are only open in the winter months here or what. Just search it with Google.

Default The Wharf ... in Pass A Grille

My favorite, though too far for easy drive is in Pass A Grille, just south of St. Petersburg Beach. The back of the restaurant faces East and is on Boca Ciega Bay. The back porch has a "table" like a bar mounted on rear and you can sit there and feed the fish while waiting on your meal. Love their fried oysters.

If you are down that way, try them out.

Deano Hoosier,

Did this restaurant use to be called Sea Critters? If so this is one of our favorite restaurants. We are going to Pass a Grille in January. From your description it sounds like Sea Critters or is The Wharf a different place?
Thanks.

I like lobster, but I will concede that you must like it more than I!
