Default Taverna Red

We went to Taverna Red last night. We haven't been there for awhile.
What a great meal we had. I got lasagna & it was delicious. Hubby had fettuccine alfredo. It's not on the menu, but they were happy to make it for him & he loved it. We had good warm bread, I had a salad & hubby had the pasta fagioli soup. It was so good, I wished I would have gotten it.
They also make good drinks. We sat at the bar & Alice took good care of us.
Dunning Shaw was the entertainment & we always love to hear him sing. He is there on Wednesdays. We ended up staying until he was done singing.
It was a great night. They stayed busy all night. Everyone was having a good time.

It's always great to read positive reviews of the local restaurants.

Good to hear that. We went last Thanksgiving and vowed never to go back but maybe they have gotten better. We thought it just might be how they handled the holiday meal though.

They really have a good bunch of people there. I was watching a few of them while we were sitting there & was quite impressed. A guy behind us found out he left his lights on. The server told him to sit & enjoy and he would go take care of it.

Taverna Red is owned by the same people who own Pasta Faire in Bellview, another favorite restaurant or ours. Great food, great service, nice decor and reasonable prices. What more can you ask?

Default No thank you Taverna Red

We won't go back to Taverna Red, the prices are extremely high for what you get. Compared it to Pasta Faire, you can't! Foods better at Pasta Faire and the prices are reasonable. Teverna Red...mediocre food and high prices.

It is on my list of places to try during my LSV. If Bonny likes it, I'm thinking it's good.

I knew this would be a positive review.

I'll put in on my list of restaurants to try.

We are going tomorrow night. We have our Parrot Head golf scramble so we will go when we are done. Probably about 5:30 or 6:00.

We went last night. Had a great meal, cooked to order, not 'nuked'.
Will go back next time we are here!
Our server Trevor (?) was a hoot!!
