Default First Watch

First Watch is one of my favorite restaurants. We go at least once a week there. I was surprised that they weren't very busy this past Friday. They told me on Thursday they were swamped for lunch.

They are located across from Cracker Barrel in the small plaza there next to Publix. I don't think they do enough advertising.

You can buy one pancake the size of a dinner plate (flavors of blueberry, carrot cake, chocolate chip etc) and for me that is enough. Sometimes hubby gets bacon and then we split that.

I love the Turkey Ruebens (they come with soup or salad) and you can get that as their Pick 2 special (a half sandwich). But for 50 cents more (or something like that) you can take the other half home.

I also like the Chicken Salad Melt.

You can order anything on their menu any time. So if I am tired of eggs, I can have a sandwich for breakfast.

They are only open 7 am until 2:30 pm

Some place to try if you haven't already (then go again!)

Totally agree with your restaurant recommendation. We have eaten there several times, delicious food and lots of healthy food choices.

We had two First Watch restaurants where we used to live near Dayton Ohio. We used to go there for lunch. If I remember right they had some very good salads. I think an oriental chicken salad was good.
