I've been to LOS MAGUEYES at the Wildwood Shopping Center on Main Street. (near the post office, Ace hardware and across from Mother's Attic). The food is AUTHENTIC MEXICAN and is vey good and reasonably priced. I recently went with someone who has lived in Mexico and she was impressed, though she thought she wouldn't be.

We agree. If you like chili relleno, they have one of the best around. Not a fried nasty mess like the others!

I totally agree with you 100% we were there on Wednesday and it was fantastic ! My only suggestion that I have for the owner he needs to up-grade the Air Conditioning. At present the A/C is set-up for a small retail shop. The owner is away at the present time and I will bring this to his attention when he returns.
Back to the food it really is Authentic and the service is terrific as well...give it a try..PS: The Margaretta's are incredible..

Totally agree the food is good. The margaritas are made using wine unless they have recently upgraded their liquor license as detailed in another thread in the forum.

I'm sure the owner will jump right on that when he returns. As long as it stays packed (every time we go) with customers, why spend the money?

Back to the food - it is really good. We've frequented Mexican places everywhere we've lived and it has to be amongst the best.

We love it too and lived in AZ for 30+ years. Their margaritas are fantastic!

Been there several times and have always enjoyed our meals and service.

Have been there several times. Food was usually good but the last visit the beef fajitas tasted like liver. Probably will not order those again

Have not been there since last night. Try to get there about once a week. The guac is fresh and chunky and the cheese dip is more than just melted cheese. Have tried many things on the menu and have not had any that were not good.

They have Mexican band on Thursday nights, a little loud. Correct that the air conditioning is not good.

Ate there over the weekend for the first time. Everything we had was very fresh and very good, including the service. Will definitely be going back often.
