Thumbs up Harrys Seafood Bar & Grill in Ocala

We had a great experience at Harrys this week. We went with another couple.
They have happy hour til 7:00 so we enjoyed a few drinks before dinner.
We all enjoyed our meals and our server Jessica, was a sweet heart.

I was torn between 2 chicken dishes. One was Chicken Baton Rouge, grilled and topped with goat cheese and a sundried tomato beurre blanc and the other was Chicken Jolie Blonde with parmesan basil cream sauce & artichoke hearts.
I asked Jessica which she liked best and to surprise me with that one. She said the dish came with 2 chicken breasts and she would ask the chef to make me one of each & he said no problem at all.
They were both delicious.
The service was wonderful and the food was all delicious !!

I went the other night with some friends for the first time. I really like the location right on the town square in Ocala. Food was good, service was great. The noise level was kind of high, but that's because a lot of people were there having a good time.

Harry's is a great place. We go for lunch every Tuesday...happy hour all day. Great food, great drinks. We go up 475 and it is an awesome drive through farm country. Love it!

My only complaint with Harrys is consistency. I have had gumbo there three times. The first time I complemented them on achieving an authentic Louisiana flavor. The next two times, the gumbo had a completely different flavor and spice level, and the last one was extremely salty. My better half has nothing but praise for Harrys.
