Default Has there been a change at the Arnold Palmer Restaurant?

My wife had lunch with some friends Wednesday and one of the ladies said she and her husband took guests to Arnold Palmer for dinner. Her report was not good. She said both the food and the service has declined noticeably since their last visit. She said that their concerns seemed to fall on deaf ears. This was her opinion of course and I am hearing it second hand.

Any other reports, please

I agree. The last couple of times we when to AP's. we have noticed the prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone down but for some reason the service was good both times. Historically, we would go there 4 or 5 times a month for lunch or dinner but are not going so often now. It is still a beautiful facility and we always bring visiting friends just to show them the interior, but take them elsewhere for dinning.

You're kidding, right? The chef's name was Grill?

Twice we took friends to the Arnold Palmer restaurant for a special occasion (probably a year or two ago now). We would never go back.

On both occasions they brought along the entree when we were still in the middle of the "starter". When asked to take the entree away until we had finished our first course they obviously just left it standing around as it was cold when it arrived.

They also seemed to think that as Brits we were particularly stupid - they tried to sell us horrendously expensive wine from a special price list - like $200 a bottle according to my husband - to go with just a normal priced entree! Where do they think they are? Manhattan, Paris, London? Get real.

Tried the dinner special last Tuesday and all four of us had a very good meal. Had lunch there about three weeks ago and again no complaints.
