I think "healthy good" is an oxymoron

Almost all restaurants in TV offer a selection of salads, fish and some "heart healthy" or "low calorie" selections.

It depends on what you regard as healthy food.

Sweetie and I just started a weight loss, healthy food diet.

It is easy to tell what is healthy and good for this diet.

If it tastes good, spit it out.

Why does everything that tastes so good have to be so bad for you.

Try First Watch on Buenos Aires. No fired foods and everything is freshly made and delish.

I check the restaurant's nutrional values before going out to eat. "Healthy" is subjective. I focus on calories and consider lower calories healthy because that means less or no oil is used and it's lower in carbs.

You have to be very careful at Sweet Tomatoes even though it's primarily salad. Add-ons, breads, and some soups can trip you up.

Olive Garden has a Garden Fare Menu they don't offer you unless you ask. It has healthier foods than the regular menu.

Applebee's has an under 550 calorie menu.

Chili's has a Lighter Choice menu.

Sonny's salad bar with Brunswick stew is one of our favorites.

However, Thai Ruby is a blue ribbon winner for us! Food appears to be fresh, low calorie, and absolutely delicious....but I can't guarantee healthiness since they don't have a nutrional guide. Oh, please....don't anyone tell me I've been eating high calorie, unhealthy food all this time!

Most chain restaurants have an on-line Menu and nutritional guide. If you really want to eat healthy, you can make your choice at home and not be tempted by the Menu when you get to the restaurant. Not that I'm always that self disciplined!

flipflopz, I totally agree with you about Thai Ruby. Their menu has a delicious variety of vegetarian dishes.
