Default Hemingways

Three couples ate dinner last night at Hemingway's. There are some changes. Happy Hour is all day for draft beer, house wine and well drinks. The menu has changed. I had shrimp carbonara over pasta and it was very good. Two others had large house salad one with salmon and the other with grilled shrimp. Both liked their salads. The men all liked their entrees. They still have the Monday night lobster and filet specials. There were plenty of choices on the menu. They now take reservations and still honor the frequent dining card.
We had excellent service from Casey and will continue eating at Hemingway's.

Default Whitney (bar manager) gone

Whitney, who was a great manager of Hemingway's bar, is now at Lighthouse Bar and Grille. Stop by to say hello.

With the loss of Whitney, another reason to say adios to Hemingway, She was a truly creative mixologist. When a restaurant has to worry about saving $ instead of making $--its on the way out--The same thing happened @ Honest Johns--they could back on the menu and started pouring shorter drinks

By the way is Whitney a mgr or just tending bar @ the Lighthouse
