From his Facebook Page:
September 16, 2020 · Unfortunately due to Covid 19 and the site work being done on the property i have decided to close permanently. I want to thank all of you for being great customers of Tp's Dog house. Seasons change and it is time for me to move on... May the Lord of hosts bless you all. Thanks again for your patronage over the last 11 years... |

Out of business is my guess. I understand the cart was sold by Wildwood Auctions some weeks ago - and was sold cheap for being totally tricked out - including the tables and seating! Proprietor of the auction house had no info re the future of the cart/business.

And where has Paul gone? Haven't seen him at the Brownwood Saturday Market in a month or so.

After living in the area for a year and not finding ANY hotdogs in the supermarket (Publix, Walmart, Aldi, Winn Dixie, Fresh Market) that were worth paying for, I finally discovered some pretty awesome dogs at Sam's Club.
You can buy one already cooked, in a roll, for $1.50 right as you enter the store. If you like them, you can buy a double 8-pack of them in the hotdog section for I think $9.99. So $10 for 16 dogs, and these things are enormous - 1/4 pound each. They don't really fit in normal hotdog buns but you can get the south's pathetic excuse for a "sub roll" in the Publix bread aisle cheap enough (it's basically just a hotdog roll, but around 1.5 inches longer and bullet shaped). |
