Default Ipanema(Ocala) or Piceces Rising(Mt Dora)

Has anyone eaten at either of these restaurants? If so how about a review.

I have eaten in a Brazilian restaurant on Cape Cod and the food was unbelievable, hope some one can tell me if Ipanema in Ocala is worth trying.

All you can eat steak, chicken & lamp. Prepared excellently.
Regular dinner with salad bar is about $37
If someone in the party is not a big meat eater, the salad bar is certainly plenty for $18.
Includes, fresh shrimp cocktail, cold cuts, cheeses, and nearly every veggie under the sun.

Ipanema is excellent. Like the above post states, you have the option of the salad bar only (great) or the full blown production. Go hungry and enjoy. We were there in January and our entire group raved about the food and service. Good luck.

Have heard good things about Ipanema. We ate lunch at Pisces in Mt. Dora this week, was just so-so. Definitely not worth a trip just to eat there, OK if in Mt. Dora for something else. My wife had seen it advertised, so went there. When asked in several of the shops about it, all suggested other places.

We've been to Mt Dora 3 times in the last 2 years and ate at 3 different restaurants.
www.goblinmarketrestaurant.com
..........is EXCELLENT.
Located in a back alley spot and a little hard to find but worth the search

I have to say that Pieces Rising is one of my favorite restaurants in Florida. We went there last year for my birthday (it was a recommendation) and we certainly enjoyed the whole experience. We've been back again this year and we will continue to go back.

Liked Pisces Rising in Mt. Dora mostly for the views of Lake Dora and the friendly waitress who gave us a tour of the 1912 house which had been converted into Pisces Rising. The food was pretty good nothing to rave about but good.

Have never been to the place in Ocala though.

Ipanemas' is awesome. great food! I especially loved the grilled pineapple. Been to Texas de Brazil in Orlando and that was really great much more to choose from than Ipanemas but more pricey and of course a bit of a drive.

Ipanema is a really different place with good food. Loved the grilled pineapple too. They also have desserts there that look outstanding, but who could eat them after enjoying a meal there. We do however, save this place for special occasions. Another good place to try is in Eustis; used to be called TBones, and now I think it's called Retro. It's in the historic area. Try the Osso Bucco...wow.

Thanks all for the reviews.

As I said before the Brazillian restaurant(Brazillian Grille) in Hyannis(Cape Cod) is my favorite. Now I hope Ipanema can at least come close. Judging from the responses that is likely.

Thanks Russ, ;D ;D for reminding me about the name. Intend to be eating there sometime in late August.

Have eaten @ Ipanema several times. Food and service are excellent. Love this type of cusine since first trying it in Sao Paulo, Brazil 15 years ago. Be ready for a meat fix.
