Default Alfies

Had a great "lobster pot" experience at Alfies in Ocklawaha this evening! Lobster pot for two includes two good sized lobsters, two crab leg clusters, two clams, two mussels, ear of corn and four boiled potatoes. All meals are served with cole slaw. $44.95 You must call and reserve your "pot" by Monday for Tuesday meal. Great food and service!

Thanks for the recommendation. We had been meaning to try it, but the idea just dropped off the radar. Now it's back in plain sight.

Is that $44.95 per dish? A previous thread said that TV meals are expensive!

$44.95 is for a lobster pot for two people. Very good price when you price lobster and crab in markets! On Monday nights they offer a 32 oz prime rib dinner for two for $29.95. That's a pound of prime rib plus sides for about $15 per person.

I find the restaurants in TV to be fairly priced. Just take a stroll through the grocery stores and check the prices! I don't know how some of them keep their prices so low!

We went to Alfie's about two weeks ago for the prime rib for two. It was pretty good. You can't beat the price. The server was excellent. We haven't tried the lobster pot. We lived in Rhode Island for two years and lobster can't compare to picking them from the boat in Narragansett Bay. Have you tried the Boston Lobster Feast in Orlando? I know it isn't as close as Alfie's, but it is a good experience if you like lobster.

Wouldn't bother me to go to Orlando to eat but our friends thought Alfies was a bit far! I think it's less than 20 miles from our house!
