Default Jeffrey Paul's Chop House

Dinner last night was wonderful, unique atmosphere, friendly service. Located in Leesburg, expensive but worth it for great food. We will return and bring friends for special occasions. A nice departure from The Villages Country Clubs. Google them to see their web site. $20 coupon available

In a previous thread, this restaurant had several unfavorable reviews. Perhaps there has been a turn around?

Still like Vic Embers, better. Had a nice salmon meal at Lopez for Fathers Day also.

jeffrey pauls has fabulous food, but is so overpriced. if the decor was unbelievable, then maybe their pricing structure would be appropriate, but no. from the moment you pull up outside, the ambience is depressing. there are all these bumped out windows, but are not used for any sort of display; landscaping is non existent. inside is is dark, somber, dank and dreary. while everything got a good coat of paint, the booths and tables seem to be left over when this place was a biker bar, and just repainted or reupholstered, and not with fabric or colors that evoke class. the staff is dressed fine, just not so fine to command the high prices. entertainment was good, but no better than any you get for free at the town squares.
i give jeffrey pauls a passing grade, but just because it is not a good value.
