Have driven past Embers several times. The blue tarp is still on the roof, and their bus is in the front of the building with a for sale sign.

Does anyone know if this restaurant will ever open again? After their fire, they stated they'd be back before summer.

If I remember correctly, the owners weren't young. Maybe they have decided to stop being full time restauranteurs.

Vic was ready to retire but his son Victor who was active in the business certainly was in his prme working years. We have used them many times for our HOliday community parties in December.

If they have not done anything to rebuild since the fire, I would suspect they are not planning to open at that location. ..and since it has been quiet PR wise, I suspect the family is moving on with its life outside of "Embers".

Vic's Embers website says they look forward to opening Autumn of 2014. We can only hope!
