Crackers in Crystal River has good seafood! Best crab cakes I've ever had!

Oceanaire in Orlando is excellent. They are also included on the Orlando Magical Dining which offers a 3 course dinner for $33.

Check all the menus for all the participating restaurants at orlandomagicaldining.com. A portion goes to charity.

This is during the month of September.

Happy Anniversary!

Simply Seafood in Dunnellen. Very small place. Must call for reservation.

I believe that Simply Seafood has closed the restaurant part, but the market portion is still open.

If true, that's a bummer. Great place!

JUst confirmed you are correct. SS was the best seafood restaurant anywhere near here. Have been there many times and it will be missed. Probably won't drive an hour to go to the market which we always visited after lunch or early dinner.

Crackers as mentioned is good and an hour west of here. Charlies almost next door is also very good. Both places are on the water which makes eating seafood the way it should be. I just remembered also Chrystal River Ale House. It is also on the water. My favorite is Pecks Old Port Cove in Ozella right next to Crystal River. They farm their own crabs, are on the water and it reminds you of being in the Florida Keys.
