Default Kelly’s Roast Beef

For the Greater Boston fans and so many others who love this place ,it’s been sold after having same owners for 70 years . They say no changes but who knows , from my teens all the way up to my 80’s I’ve enjoyed sitting on the wall at Revere Beach enjoying a roast beef , lobster roll or some fried clams while enjoying to ocean view

I left MA in May and Kelly’s was a shell of its shelf but would still like something like this here. It was great late nights in the 80s after a night out. I miss 3 ways from up there but love living here
I guess there is a Kelly’s in St Pete if you’re ever in that area.

Wow. So Kelly's is sold? I remember Buzzy's roast beef down by the old jailhouse and Mass General. Nice sandwiches.

Picked some up when we went to MA for Christmas. Good stuff.
Next trip back north I’m bringing back some Dom’s steak tips and Treehouse beer

There are hundreds of roast beef places on the North Shore all much better than Kelly’s. It is over priced bad food which will probably go downhill some more. They are still living on their reputation from 60-70 years ago.

I often visited my older sister and niece when they lived across the street from Revere Beach in the early 80’s. Remember getting really good fried whole belly clams and lobster rolls from Kelly’s. My memories of Revere beach are not so fond. I suppose I was spoiled vacationing on the pristine beaches of Cape Cod and Marthas Vineyard growing up, but having to tip toe around used hypodermic needles and condemns at Revere Beach was definitely a buzz kill.

Even beeferies serving up mediocre north shore beefs were much better than Kelly’s.

Still the memories of my younger days grabbing beefs after midnight are fond to me. Great times after a night out

Well I’ve been walking that beach from one end to the other and back for a large part of my life and never came across any of that but I’m m sure it happened , but if you haven’t been back since the 80’s you would be surprised by the buildup along the beach .As far as Kelly’s food goes , I guess it’s just like here where the restaurants are crowded with people who don’t know there eating bad food , because the lines at Kelly’s are still long and the lobster roll in summer is still the best buy for the money .ive been to beautiful beaches all over he world, but for me I’m still the happiest sitting on the wall ,people watching at the first public beach in the USA and they will spread my ashes in the water there so I’ll be there forever

I’m not sure how good the sandwiches were at Buzzy’s like most of my friends I usually only ate there late at night when I had a few drinks but the place always looked pretty bad in the harsh sunlight of the next day so I always said to myself never again ,the sandwich not the few drinks lol

I thought the food was good. It sure didn't look like much. There several of those places.
