Sorry to tell you they are closed. Been replaced by Cody's Original Roadhouse. Good reviews. No personal experience.

The best time to have dinner anywhere in TV is EARLY. (4 PM or so )The later it gets, the longer the line, unless you can wait until about 8 PM or so.

Been to Cody's twice in last week. Good Food and service both times. Informed of 30 - 45 minute wait both times (arrived 5:30 -6:00) and was seated within 30 minutes. No problem, had Happy Hour drinks by bar, had some peanuts and before you know it our pager was beeping. You'll like it, be patient and enjoy!!

Default restaurants in TV

Just wondered. How many restaurants have come and gone in TV. It seems I look up the list of restaurants and then find out they have closed. Anyone know the reason? Poor management, too expensive, thoughts?

Codys is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Villages.
It's a fun place. Great bartenders & servers. We go about 5 times a week. Love the $2.00 bar burger & appetizers are really good. Great wings.

IMHO The restaurant business is not too much different in TV than any similar sized "city". Those that offer good food and service at the right price make it while those that don't fold. Not much different from where I came from before TV, except without work and a job to occupy my time we all turn into restaurant critics here. I believe Up The Creek was a franchise operation and Cody's wanted a presence in TV, this was just a quick transition from one to the other with very little down time. The food and staff at Cody's has been good.
