Thumbs down Lopez Restaurant

Tried again last evening. Overated and over priced.
Burnt Chicken, dried out lobster tail, not even sure it came from a lobster. The Salad was good. Probably won't be back

Sorry.

Should probably never try them without prior awareness on their hugely popular surf/turf night, as the crowds are legendary. (Last night our group sat down a little after 5:00pm; the crowd on the patio was advised "an hour and a half wait.")

Everything was perfection!

And, a whole different group had lunch there, today. Superb!

I do agree that it's a pricey place, but I think many agree with me that it is the best restaurant in The Villages and vicinity!

IMHO.

Last night was our first ever visit to Nancy Lopez CC. The wait was quite long, but the four people in our party all agreed it was well worth it. All of us raved about the lobster tail! Husband said it was the best he's ever eaten. We will definitely be going back!

IMHO, every restaurant has good and bad nights. The last time we were at Lopez, the lobster tails were overcooked. But it's a nice place, and we'll probably try it again.

We have found Lopez the best (by far) food at any of the country clubs. A little pricey, but well worth the extra cost. Last place for us gos to Havana. Hate that since the atmosphere is great and it is right by our house. The best overall when considering cost and quality go to Cain Garden and Glenview.
