Default Mel's Diners would be a great fit here in The Villages

We recently ate at Mel's Diner in Bonita Springs and we both agreed that a Mel's Diner would be a great fit in The Villages. If you have eaten at one of Mel's Diners in either Naples, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral or Ft Myers and would like to see one here in The Villages we can start our e-mail blitz now.

Click on the link below to see Mel's Diners web page and hit the contact and let them know we are here. Also if you haven't eaten at Mel's and find their web page interesting join the Mel's Diners e-mail blitz. Be sure and check out Mel's menu.

I love Mel's Diner. I lived in Bonita for a few years and usually went there at least once a week.

I sent them my request and hopefully thousands of others on TOTV will do the same.

A Mel's Diner would probably be a welcome addition to Brownwood. However, would enough people come to it to make it a worthwhile venture?

Probably as time goes on, Brownwood will attract more restaurants. Have to have the customers in order to make money.

oopps...my mistake, it was Big Al's (owned by Mel's Diner that I used to go to) but, Mel's was a good place as well.

We lived in Bonita as well; Mel's would be nice (great pies), but Big Al's would be better.

I had the famous "Mile High Pie" at Mel's. It was pretty good.

Yeah I agree. Get rid of Johnny Rockets and put a Mel's or at least something more authentic.

I love a good diner especially for breakfast.

I was gonna say that too, but Flo hasn't work there for years and the original Mel has been deceased now for years!

Seriously, I was just saying to my wife yesterday that it would be nice to have a dinner around here like the ones you'd find in the northeast, expecially the NY-NJ area! We had one in Clifton Park NY and we used to go there frequently from when they first built it many years ago! Yum!
