Default Calzone and garlic knots

I am going through withdrawal. I am looking for a restaurant with a good calzone, overstuffed with ricotta cheese, pepperoni and ham. Oh ya with some garlic knots on the side. And a good fresh garden salad not a salad from a bag. Any suggestions?

Giovanni's has a HUGE stuffed calzone and delicious garlic knots. I am not crazy about their regular salad, but it is fresh. They have a good Antipasto salad.

Another place outside TV but not with a LOT of curb appeal is Legends in Leesburg. NOT Nancy Lopez, not the same one at ALL.... Legends in Leesburg has great wings too.

The best is at Flippers Pizzeria here in Spanish Springs.
Also, try the Garlic Bread, or for a real treat, try the Hot Italian Cheese Bread.
Oh, they also have fabulous Pizza there also.

I disagree with Aloha...Flipper's pizza tastes like cardboard. I would suggest Snappy Tomatoe. GREAT pizza and calzones!

Try the small greek salad at Giovanni's. It's my favorite around town.

You might try Bravo's (Lake Sumter Landing) - it's the closest to what I make myself - especially the Baked Ziti - yummy - garlic knots are great & salad is routine.

NYPD Pizza on 466A has the best NY style pizza in the area. We are from NY and we were in pizza withdrawal because we could not find a decent NY style pizza in TV. Now we are happy, happy, happy. The calzones are very good too.

Just a side note we also found authentic NY Bagels at Brooklyn Water Bagels on 441. Now we are doubly happy, happy happy.

Yes, that sounds like a great idea. I am having surgery on my hand at the end of the month but after I recover, I would be happy to help get the ball rolling on this.
