I heard from S. Florida that Metro Diner will not reopen and will close permanently. That includes all locations. I hope this isn't true because it was one of my favorites for breakfast. Hard to believe because they seemed to have plenty of customers.
Has anyone heard anything else?

According to this article, the Metro Diners in southern Florida will not be reopening:

No word on all Metro Diners closing.

The wife and I ate there a couple months ago and our server said they were going to close but open up under a new name. Said that another corporation was operating the chain.
