Is there a Krispy Kreme Donuts in the area? If there is, I'm doomed!

I think OP is looking for HOT and Fresh signs According to there site closest store locations are:

Brandon
•Daytona Beach
•Destin
•Florida City
•Ft. Lauderdale
•Gainesville
•Jacksonville
•Jacksonville- Atlantic Blvd
•Kissimmee
•Lakeland
•Melbourne
•Miami
•Orlando
•Palm Harbor
•Palmetto Bay
•Panama City
•Pensacola
•Tallahassee- N Monroe Street
•Tallahassee- Park Ave
•Tamarac
•Tampa
•Tampa- N Florida Ave.
•Winter Park

Or you can buy the packaged ones at many stores. But too me...they're not the same!

publix sells them. i do not get the allure of these donuts. about 8-9 years ago krispy kreme came to the philadephia area. big hoopla, big promotions, about 15 or so brand new locations. the lines were long, everyone oohed and aahed, for awhile. within 2 years most of the locations closed. why? the donuts are just not so good, and the coffee was lousy. most were reopened as dunkin donuts.

Default Oohed and aahed in Philly

I miss them here in Philly. In my opinion, they were very tasty when hot off the line.

You bet! When they're hot they're hot and when they're not they're not!
No comparison.

They still go down like silk if you microwave them ( on a coffee filter) for about 5 seconds.

KK didn't make it in Houston either. Well - at least the one that was close to our house. Shipley Donuts seem to be the donut of choice in our area. I always looked forward to Hot KK's when we would vacation in Myrtle Beach. Most likely a contributing factor for many clogged arteries.
