Default Mom and Pop Diner

Being new to TV, my wife and I are looking for a good mom and pop family diner. Can be in or out of The Villages.

While not really a mom and pop, Raes Raes is a great little family run dinner. Only open for breakfast and lunch, on 27_441 just south of 466a. Just not open on Mondays and closes at 2.

I believe Rae Rae's has traditional diner items like Mac & cheese and meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, but everything there is made from scratch, and it's great food!

and breakfast,

There is also a new diner that has opened in Pinellas Plaza on 466A.

Billy's Cafe on 441 across from Wal-Mart is a great breakfast spot. We've never been disappointed yet.

There are two I really like. Fruitland Park Cafe on 441 just South of 466A and Coffee House in Wildwood right at the corner of 301 and 466A. Both are family owned diners and would make the diners drive ins and dives show proud. Great breakfast and lunch places.

Our favorites are Rae Rae's awesome food and menu, great home cooking! And hands down for great food and inexpensive pricing is Fruitland Park Cafe!! Fruitland Park Cafe is like an old neighborhood diner, nothing to look at so don't be put off, you get your own coffee at the coffee station it's unlimited and only 50 cents!!! Breakfast is always perfect and lunch is awesome the 13 large Panko breaded shrimp are incredible for $8.75 with steak fries and coleslaw!

I agree with Fruitland Park Café. Not much to look at, but great food and great people.

Shhh. Be quiet.
Don't tell anyone about Reds!
It's already getting too crowded.

Actually in Hernando on rt 200 but you are right, in my opinion the best breakfast in central Florida. About an hour from The Villages. You'll be taking most of your food home.
